MOM AND DAD

Mom, Lord knows we hardly get along. But I guess Daddy was always right we really are too much alike. I know we may fuss all the time! But you are my mom and I will always forgive you NO matter what you say or do! You know you always have me whenever you need me! I don't care how far we are away from each other! When we were growing up you were always the cool one, and you still are. I mean really me and the girls asked you to come out to the bar with us the other night! What 19 year old does that? not many. I am just happy to say that we have a relationship like that. I LOVE YOU!

Daddy, Gosh where do I even begin. I have lived with you my entire life! You have pretty much done everything for me for the past 19 years. And I know you didn't have grey hair until I was born, but if you ask me it looks better on you than red=] I may act like I don't appreciate you but you better believe THAT I DO! You are one person that I can come to with anything! I mean when I was 17 you ( my daddy) took me to get put on birthcontrol! I mean really thats a moms job. But throughout my life you were both, and I am extremely thankful! I know I can be hard headed, really loud, and lose my temper very easily, but hey that's the Davis in me=]  I love being able to share things with you like our hunting trips, fishing trips, and our nights swinging on the swing listening to the rain. And how in the winter time we sit by the fire place and you rock me like you have for the past 19 years while we watch the hunting channel...and every year I tell you how your lap is shrinking...and you say "Lacee you can't sit here next year, look your feet are touching the floor" but every year I crawl right back in your lap! I will remember all these things and be able to tell my grandkids how wonderful you were! And I wish you would stop saying that I'm going to throw you in a nursing home one day, because I won't! I will take care of you as long as it takes, just like you have always taken care of me!
I LOVE YOU DADDY!
